Aiwyn Announces it Will Offset 227 Metric Tons of Carbon Emissions

Through its partnership with Green Places to Work, Aiwyn affirms a commitment to environmental stewardship as the company continues its rapid growth

Charlotte, NC – 09/09/21 Aiwyn, a technology company helping accounting firms streamline their work-to-cash cycle and practice management operations with artificial intelligence (AI), today announces the company has offset 227 metric tons of carbon this year or the equivalent of taking 47 cars off the road permanently. Aiwyn will accomplish this through a partnership with Green Places, which specializes in helping businesses calculate their carbon footprints, acquire verified carbon credits to offset annual emissions, and implement impactful sustainability plans.

This environmentally-focused partnership with Green Places represents a natural synergy for Aiwyn. The company’s Intelligence-Based BillingTM platform launched in January 2020 as the accounting profession’s first paperless AI work-to-cash cycle management platform, and it helps firms drive measurable ROI and reduce reliance on paper-based back-office processes.

In addition to the work Green Places and Aiwyn will do together to offset Aiwyn’s carbon footprint, the two companies will form a partnership to support accounting firms and other professional services firms with joint solution offerings.

Said Aiwyn’s Chief Executive Officer, Justin Adams: “We started Aiwyn to solve a concrete business problem — CPA firms needed faster cash flow, more productive teams, and better insight on financial operations. We’re growing quickly as we deliver on that need, and as a values-led company it’s imperative that Aiwyn grows in an environmentally-conscious way. And we’re seeing our customers’ growth goals align with this mindset—they want to cut costs, improve operations, attract new clients, and retain best-in-class talent, and they can do that by introducing green programs and AI technology. I love how Green Places to Work has helped Aiwyn, and I’m excited by what we can do together to help professional services firms.”

Green Places to Work Chief Executive Officer & Founder, Alex Lassiter continued, “We’re thrilled to help the Aiwyn team go carbon-neutral. Aiwyn is one of the first AI software companies that has adopted these measures, but won’t be the last. Our teams and technologies are perfect complements, and we’re already seeing the early signs of the potential for rapid growth together.”
