Self-Serve Permissions Management: More control over who can see and do what (now live for all firms)

Firm admins now have the control they’ve always needed, without waiting on anyone. We’ve completely rebuilt permissions management from the ground up — giving you the power to self-serve access changes with sharper visibility, more flexibility, and zero back-and-forth.

What’s new in Aiwyn Experience

Signature Reassignment: Keep engagements moving when signers change (now live for all firms)

When a CPA firm sends an engagement letter, the recipient isn’t always the person authorized to sign it. Previously, the only fix was to pull the engagement back to draft, update the contact, and resend. A full workflow disruption for what should be a 30-second correction.

Now, the original recipient simply clicks a link in their email, enters the correct signer’s name and email, and the engagement is automatically regenerated with the updated contact’s information. No firm intervention required. The right person gets the right document, and engagements get signed faster.

Why this matters

What used to require voiding an engagement, losing progress, and frustrating clients is now a self-serve correction that takes seconds. Signature Reassignment removes a common bottleneck without any action needed from firm staff.

 

Enhancements & minor updates

• Conditional Content Expression – Engagement letter templates can now show or hide specific clauses based on the jobs included in an engagement. If a clause applies only to tax advisory engagements, it appears automatically when relevant and stays out of the letter when it is not. No need to maintain separate template versions just to handle minor differences between service combinations.
• Async Send Notifications – When you send an engagement letter, a confirmation appears in the app as soon as it’s on its way. No need to refresh the page or wonder if it actually went out. The notification surfaces directly in your workflow so you can move on with confidence.
