This is another installment of our new series of monthly Aiwyn platform updates. Each note will spotlight newly launched capabilities that are designed to help your firm accelerate cash flow, streamline operations, and elevate the client experience across the entire Aiwyn platform.
Clients receiving tax documents through SafeSend will now see a ‘Pay Now’ button that links directly to their Aiwyn Client Portal. This eliminates extra steps and gives clients a familiar, secure way to submit payments during tax season.
Why this matters
This integration makes it easier for firms to collect payments at the moment clients are already engaged. It reduces manual follow-up, improves visibility, and aligns with firm workflows using SafeSend. Learn more
The Invoices section of the Firm Portal now includes both invoice date and invoice age. These columns appear alongside client name, amount due, and other key data.
Why this matters
Firms can now quickly assess the age of outstanding balances without manually calculating them. This gives AR teams better insight into overdue invoices and timing-related follow-ups. Learn more
When creating a Quick Payment Link, staff can select a client from a dropdown menu. If selected, any payment made with the customized link is attributed to the chosen client.
Why this matters
This expands clients’ payment options by providing a simplified experience while still pinpointing every payment to the right account.
Firm staff can now select multiple engagements and apply changes in bulk, including template updates, fiscal year changes, and staff reassignments. Only the fields edited are changed; everything else is left untouched.
Why this matters
This helps firms manage large engagement volumes more efficiently and reduces the risk of accidental overwrites. It also saves time for admins handling high-volume updates.
Users can now move multiple engagements through the Review and Approval workflow at once. Optional assignee tagging and user commenting, exception handling, and progress tracking are built in.
Why this matters
This enables faster approvals while preserving accountability. It’s especially helpful during peak engagement periods or when onboarding new clients.
A new error filter in the Batch view helps firms quickly surface issues with engagements.
Why this matters
This makes isolating problems easier and taking quick action without manually scanning rows.
Firm staff can now efficiently manage multiple engagements simultaneously through the new Batch Management screen. This powerful feature streamlines the Review and Approval workflow, enabling bulk updates to engagement statuses.
Why this matters
These batch tools help staff save time, stay organized, and reduce manual tracking by enabling faster bulk actions during Review and Approval workflows or when progressing engagements through the lifecycle.
