Aiwyn’s new Outlook Add-In allows staff to generate and insert Quick Payment Links directly from the Outlook compose window, without switching between applications. The add-in loads a firm’s configured Quick Payment Link types and enables users to add them to messages with a single click. This provides a more efficient workflow for staff who primarily manage client billing conversations via email. While the feature is live, external availability is pending Microsoft Store approval for general rollout
Why this matters
Embedding payment actions where staff already communicate reduces context switching, shortens the time it takes to request payments, and supports a smoother collection experience for both firms and their clients.
Firms can now assign view-only access to invoices, payments, and collections activity, allowing staff to review financial information without the ability to edit or take action. These permissions apply across key billing and collections views and support clearer role separation within the firm. This enhancement allows firms to safely extend financial visibility to partners, managers, or client-facing teams while maintaining appropriate controls.
Why this matters
Granular permissions reduce the risk of accidental changes while ensuring stakeholders have access to the information they need to support clients and internal decision-making.
Stripe Link is now available in the Client Portal, giving clients a secure way to save and reuse their payment methods for future transactions. In addition to Apple Pay and Google Pay, Link supports stored card and U.S. bank account payments, making checkout faster for returning clients. Availability may vary as A/B testing continues to evaluate conversion performance.
Why this matters
Reducing friction at checkout helps clients complete payments more quickly, supporting stronger and more consistent cash flow for firms.
The Payments experience has been updated to clarify how finance charges and credits are reflected in collections balances. When a firm-level configuration is enabled, late fees are excluded from the Total Balance shown in aging summaries, with helper text explaining how totals are calculated. This ensures balances align with firm expectations while still surfacing finance charges elsewhere in the workflow.
Why this matters
Clear balance calculations reduce confusion for staff reviewing aging and help prevent misinterpretation of outstanding amounts.
Smart Statement email templates have been updated to display finance charges and credits consistently. Template behavior respects existing firm configurations that control whether credits appear and whether they are applied to the total amount due. These updates improve alignment between statement emails and portal balances.
Why this matters
Accurate and consistent statement emails reduce client questions and support smoother collections conversations.
Users can now reply directly to comments on a Request List item and view conversations in a threaded format. This keeps discussions grouped by topic within each request, so questions, clarifications, and internal notes stay organized and easier to follow for everyone involved.
Why this matters
Threaded conversations reduce confusion, cut down on back and forth, and make it easier for teams and clients to track context and decisions within each request.
Firm users can now select multiple Request List items at once and apply bulk actions, including resending requests, editing key fields, duplicating items, accepting responses, and changing reviewers, assignees, or due dates. This update lets teams manage large sets of requests from a single view instead of opening each one individually.
Why this matters
Bulk updates save time, reduce manual effort, and help teams keep Request Lists accurate and up to date, especially during busy periods with high volumes of client requests.
Client Portal users can now filter request list items to more easily locate outstanding, completed, or in-progress requests. These filters are available directly within the request list experience and improve navigation for both clients and firm users. The update supports faster access to items that require action.
Why this matters
Improved filtering reduces time spent searching for information and helps keep request workflows moving efficiently.
Request List items now support multiple reviewers and assignees, allowing firms to distribute responsibility across teams. This enables parallel review workflows while maintaining clear visibility into who is responsible for each item. The enhancement better reflects how work is handled across departments.
Why this matters
Shared ownership reduces bottlenecks and helps teams move work forward without relying on a single reviewer.
Firms can now restrict individual Request List items to control who can view response details based on sensitivity or context. All users can still see that a request exists on the list, but only designated users can view its response content, which appears masked or disabled for everyone else. This lets firms manage sensitive information within a single, unified workflow without fragmenting requests.
Why this matters
Granular visibility controls help firms protect sensitive information without fragmenting client request workflows.
