RELEASE NOTES

May 2025

This is the first in a new series of monthly Aiwyn platform updates. Each note will spotlight newly launched capabilities that are designed to help your firm accelerate cash flow, streamline operations, and elevate the client experience across the entire Aiwyn platform.

What’s new in Payments

Explore new tools that help your firm collect faster, communicate billing details clearly, and ensure a smooth payment experience for every client.

Collect payments fast with Quick Payment Links

Firms can now create and share secure payment links, without needing an invoice or client record. These links are ideal for collecting payments on retainers, event fees, consultations, or ad hoc services. Each link is customizable, reusable, and mapped to a placeholder client for reporting purposes.

Why this matters
You can now collect payments faster in more flexible scenarios, all while maintaining visibility in your Aiwyn reporting. Learn more

Customize how payment methods appear to your clients

You can now rename the payment method labels shown in the Client Portal (for example, change “Bank account” to “ACH transfer”). This helps clients understand which option to choose.

Why this matters
More intuitive labels improve clarity for clients and reduce questions for your team. Activation required. Contact Aiwyn Support to enable this feature. Learn more

See your client’s payment notes in confirmation emails

When a client includes a payment note on a non-invoice payment (such as “May retainer”), that note now appears in the confirmation email sent to your team.

Why this matters
Payment confirmations are now more informative, helping you match context to cash flow with less effort. Learn more

Identify who receives invoices and statements

New contact tags have been added to identify which client contacts will receive an invoice or statement.

Why this matters
Improves visibility and control over billing communications, reducing errors and missed deliveries. Learn more

Quickly access billing emails in the Firm Portal

A new column in the Clients table now displays the billing email address associated with each client.

Why this matters
It improves visibility into billing details, making verifying contact information at a glance easier. Learn more

Control your client’s ability to remove late fees

You can now require that clients pay any late fees listed on their invoice. If this setting is enabled, clients will no longer see the option to remove late fees when paying.

Why this matters
This helps firms enforce payment terms and collect on earned fees more consistently. Activation required. Contact Aiwyn Support to enable this feature. Learn more

What’s new in Engagements

Gain more control and visibility into your engagement workflow with new tools that support internal reviews before anything is sent to clients.

Review and approve Engagements before they go out the door

You can now draft, review, and get sign-off on engagements before sending them to clients.

Why this matters
This feature ensures all internal approvals are secured, reducing errors, and speeding up the engagement process. Contact our Customer Success team today to join the beta
